Ambeo Plus Issues: Buyers Remorse

I purchased an Ambeo Plus bar and Subwoofer to replace my cheaper 5.1 Vizio soundbar setup. I loved the idea of the increased audio abilities and wanted to go all in. With my current room setup, I didn’t have an easy way to install rear speakers, so I loved the idea that Sennheiser could provide a 3D effect without rears. Since purchasing the product I have had a challenging time with it.

First was the sub I purchased. I tried to calibrate it with the soundbar with no success. Even the Sennheiser support suggested I return it and try a new one after countless failed attempts. Once I did that, it calibrated first shot and works great.

The more frustrating things have been the sound level between streaming systems and the loudness during some parts of my watching experience. I have played around with every single possible setting.

I have had troubles where both the Google cast and the Spotify connect streaming will abruptly end after playing for a few minutes or 15 minutes.

I resort back to believing that the improved audio quality has not felt worth it to sacrifice the annoyance of adjusting sound levels constantly, hearing loud laugh tracks during standup/SNL/Late Night and dealing with connectivity issues with Spotify connect and Google Home cast.

And yes, I have attempted numerous factory resets. Along with Ambeo on/off, EQ changes, center speaker level increased.

I regret spending all this money and missing the window to return the set.
