Can someone explain why n8n automation templates are such a game-changer? (Honest question)

I'm newish to this space and I keep hearing people talk about having "1,000+ n8n templates" like it's the holy grail.

I get WHAT they do (build automations without coding).

But I don't fully get WHY having 1,000+ templates specifically matters so much. Is it just about options? Or is there something else?

Here's my hypothesis (and I could be totally wrong):

- Pre-built templates are tested/debugged

- You can use them as starting points instead of building from scratch

- If one breaks, you have 999 other options

- Some are specific to niche use cases

But I feel like I'm missing something about the real value.

The reason I'm asking:

I joined a community called AI Profit Boardroom that has 1,000+ templates in their vault. I've been using a few, but I want to understand the full picture of what I'm working with.
