Just bought a brand new high country Chevy Suburban - big mistake or best decision?

New to chevy’s, but I fell in love with the size & look of the suburban high country, so I bought it. Now I’m here to get real reviews from real people - the good, the bad, & the ugly about these cars. Do they really last up to 300k miles? Anyone have any issues with these cars? I’ve always heard horror stories about Chevy & GMC but I also understand sometimes people don’t know what they’re talking about & will just say things based on another person’s experience. Shoot it to me straight.
