HELP : I’m starting to feel a bit confused about skincare ingredient apps

Hi 🤗

I love taking care of my skin and trying new products, but lately I’ve been feeling a bit confused because of some ingredient-scanning apps.

Several times I’ve used a product that works really well for my skin and that I’m happy with… but when I scan it on these apps, it gets a bad score. It made me start doubting the product even though it works perfectly for me and is supposed to comply with European regulations. 😓

Between concerns about certain ingredients and the “clean beauty” or “skincare routine” trends that sometimes seem to push people to buy more and more products, I sometimes wonder if we end up getting a bit lost and maybe even using too many products.

So it made me question the way I choose and use cosmetics. I’d really like to hear how others deal with this. Do you think it’s useful to scan every product with ingredient apps to check the quality, even though products are supposed to follow European regulations?

Thank you ☺️
