Guy got emotionally “fixed on me” within a phone call
I met a guy through a matrimony setup. He connected on Instagram.
We spoke properly for just one day.
During that single conversation, I was open about my past and my difficult matrimony experiences.
Since then, he’s been texting constantly and talking as if I’m already “his person”.
He says things like:
- “I wish I could’ve celebrated Holi with you”
- “Will you make me coffee someday?”
- “Where would you like to stay? I’m planning my job move”
Even on our very first video call, he spoke very casually — like we already knew each other well.
It feels sweet… but also very fast and overwhelming.
I clearly told him this pace is overwhelming for me and asked how he can be so sure when we barely know each other.
He acknowledged it — but his behaviour hasn’t changed.
I genuinely believe you need time to understand someone before liking them.
Given my past emotional trauma in matrimony, this sudden attachment makes me uncomfortable.
Is this emotional rushing that I should be careful about?
