New spectrum binder might be too tight?
When getting measured, mine came back as 42" chest, 32" rib. I emailed to get a recommended size and was told to try getting a large or XL, so I ended up going with XL, which is 39" - 40.9" chest, 35.1" - 37" rib
However, now that I have it, I tried it on for the first time earlier today and wore it for a little over an hour, and I'm wondering if I should get a XXL instead (41" - 42.9" chest, 37.1" - 39" rib) as it was causing a bit of pain near my back and ribs, but I'm wondering if that is a good choice or if it will just become less tight after a few days of wearing it
I'm also wondering why it would be causing pain, as the rib measurements for XL are already a few inches bigger then my rib size, but I imagine it could be since the chest size is a couple inches smaller it might just be causing it to compress to much? It's hard to say
It's my first time getting a binder also, so it's hard to tell if this is just a normal part of a new binder, but from looking at videos and reading things of people talking about how to tell if a binder fits right I've not seen people say that it is normal for it to hurt when first trying it on
