What happens to my mandatory Nepal board exams if I become a trainee in Korea?

Unsolved

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask about something very important regarding K-pop training for minors.

I’m from Nepal, and I’m currently in 9th grade. In my country, 10th and 12th board exams are mandatory for continuing education and my future career. I’ve auditioned for a K-pop program, and I’m strong in rap, vocals, and performance, but I’m not overconfident — I just want to plan responsibly.

If I pass the final round and move to Korea as a trainee, I’m worried about what will happen to my mandatory board exams. In Nepal, there isn’t a system where students can complete board exams from another country while training abroad. If I move there and train but don’t debut, my education could be seriously affected, and I might lose the opportunity to continue further studies.

I wanted to ask:

Have any foreign trainees from countries like Nepal been allowed to finish mandatory exams first before relocating?

Is there any way for Nepalese students to continue education while training abroad (online classes, homeschooling, or special programs)?

How do trainees balance training in Korea with finishing important educational qualifications in their home countries?

What happens if someone trains but doesn’t debut — do they have backup options to continue their education?

Any advice, personal experiences, or insights about managing education and training as a minor foreign trainee would be incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!
