Need help deciding on a keyboard

Hello,

Switching from controller to keyboard & mouse for gaming and honestly feeling a bit lost 😅

I mostly play story-driven games and casual FPS, and I’m trying to figure out the best keyboard setup for gaming.

A few questions for the experienced players here:

• Are low-profile keyboards good for gaming, or are normal (standard height) keyboards better? Why? I use low profile keyboards for typing and daily tasks but I’m afraid a low profile keyboard is too sensitive for gaming and might cause a lot of mistakes but not sure.

• If the keyboard is purely for gaming, is a 60–65% layout enough, or is 75% more practical/essential for some games? My current work keyboard is Nuphy Air 2 96 but I feel it is too big and impacting the space for my mouse if I’m using it for purely gaming
