Is Microsoft trying to get rid of Xbox?

Not trying to be click baity, just reading between the lines of the trajectory of the last few years, and with the departure of Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond, it just seems like perhaps there is some internal pressure to get rid of Xbox slowly or phase it into their infrastructure of servers and data centers to support giant games like WoW, CoD and Minecraft.

Something just feels off. It’s like they’ll do anything but make good games, and then when they do make a good game they move on from it exceedingly quick.
