Nervous to tell family

Was anyone else nervous about telling their family they are pregnant? I’m 25, own my own home, and fully support myself and pay all my own bills, so I feel stable and independent in my life, but I’m still really nervous about telling my family that I’m pregnant. I’ve been with my partner for 6 months after coming out of a genuinely horrible previous relationship, and this relationship has been such a healthy, safe, and loving change for me. We’re now expecting a baby, and while we’re both happy and excited, I’m scared my family won’t approve or will judge us because we haven’t been together “that long.” I know in he’s going to be an amazing dad. He’s so kind, patient, and incredible with me already. It feels right even if the timeline looks fast from the outside.
