Should I call of work?

A little backstory

I work in the food industry. I have to work with raw chicken and I make food for costumers. So I am working with food all day and I have never been trained on register, so there is no way for me to avoid working with the food.

I've been sick for 5 days and my symptoms have been getting worse. Today I found out I have a viral infection. The doctors told me if I work to wear a mask but if I get worse or develop a fever I should stay home. My manager also wants me to come in sick. I dont have a fever but I have all the other symptoms. I understand why she wants me to come in because we are short staffed but I really don’t think it is best for my health. I also am afraid of violating health code policies. What should I do?
