V5C

So I’m selling my car, I’ve got the paper work for it under its original plates but not the private plates, I’ve lost the paperwork for the private plates but I want to sell the car with the original plates, so I’ve paid the £25 charge for the new v5c for the private plates then will pay £80 to take the plates off back to the original, am I doing this correctly?

Any help much appreciated.
