Bro nobody told me the office was gonna be Game of Thrones
I'm pretty new to the workforce and I genuinely thought an office was just... people working together toward a common goal. Collaborating. Solving problems. You know, the basic premise.
Nope.
Within my first few weeks I started noticing the alliances, the subtle power moves, the people who smile at you and talk behind your back, the ones who guard information like it's a weapon...
It's less "let's build something together" and more "which house are you pledging loyalty to."
Is this just everywhere? Did I miss the memo? How do you guys actually navigate this without losing your mind or your soul? 😅
