Shoe Glue Brand Recommendations?

TLDR: Is there a specific type of shoe glue / shoe glue brand people can recommend for shoe repair?

I purchased the Aris Allen sneaker style men's shoes 5 months ago and the sole is just starting to separate. Dancers at my scene recommended shoe glue. I see that's a particular brand "Shoe Glu" but I'm wondering if they were just recommending any type and just using that name generically and there's actually another brand people actually prefer.

I'm in the USA if that matters.
