Graduate with a bit of a rant...

So, like many grads this is only my second proper week in the program, at a federal agency. It's something I was so so happy and excited for as the position I was (supposed to be) offered aligned with my interests. Lo and behold, restructures have meant that both: 1) the position is no longer "existing" in that I'm in a super different area to what I was told and 2) my team has been split in half, with the other half in an entirely different area.

So basically I've joined and after not even a week forced into a different team and position to what I was promised, with literally zero communication apart from "some restructures are happening btw". I also don't have any work. Like anything. My TL has also hardly spoken to me since I arrived. He didn't even tell me where I was going in the restructure.

Hoping someone could recommend me a course of action? Talk to the graduate team? Talk to the senior TL?
