For Plasma 6 (6.6.1, soon 6.6.2), what is the recommended way to reset it to default, factory values?

I had 2 machines with KDE show a bug after the latest update; disproportionately long time after login to show the desktop, standard KDE panel missing.

Fix was to comb through ~/.config and delete everything which looked like an overly complex KDE config file (>1kB).

It was an annoying procedure -- files were in the root of ~/.config, in subfolders, no systematic nomenclature... But it worked well.

This got me thinking: What would be the recommended way to completely reset latest KDE to its defaults?

I don't want to clear out all my configs or switch to a new user since I have a lot of other config files which I'd like to keep.
