[Build Help] Ultimate No-Budget Build (9800X3D + RTX 5080) in HAVN HS420. Need the BEST 420mm AIO, 140mm Fan setup, and parts critique

Discussion

Hi everyone,

I'm currently planning a completely new, high-end, no-compromise build. I have already decided on the HAVN HS420 VGPU (White) as my case. Since budget is not an issue here, my goal is to build something that is aesthetically incredibly clean (mostly white theme) while offering top-tier performance and optimal airflow.

Before pulling the trigger, I would love your expertise on two main things: filling this massive case with the right cooling, and reviewing my current parts list for any potential flaws.

Here is my planned parts list:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

• GPU: ASUS ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080 (Vertical mount)

• Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi (White)

• RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal 96GB (2x48GB) 6400MHz CL32

• PSU: ASUS ROG Strix 1000W 80+ Platinum

• Case: HAVN HS420 VGPU Dual-Chamber (White)

• Storage 1: XPG Mars 980 Blade 2TB Gen5 NVMe

• Storage 2: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4TB NVMe

• Accessory: Thermalright AM5 Secure Frame (ASF)

❓ What I need your help with:

  1. The Ultimate 420mm AIO:

The HS420 supports up to 3x 420mm radiators. I want to mount a 420mm AIO for the CPU. What is the absolute best performing and looking 420mm AIO right now? (Preferably available in white, or one where I can easily swap the fans to match the rest of the case).

  1. 140mm Case Fan Configuration:

This case has 11x 140mm fan slots. Since I'll be using so many fans, cable management is a priority. Should I go with daisy-chainable ecosystems like the Lian Li UNI Fan TL/SL series, Corsair iCUE Link, or Phanteks D30-140s? I want a balance of premium aesthetics, low noise, and great airflow. How would you configure the intake/exhaust layout in this specific case?

  1. General Parts Critique:

Are there any glaring issues or bottlenecks in my list?

• Is 6400MHz CL32 the sweet spot for the 9800X3D, or should I be looking at 6000MHz CL30 even with 96GB modules?

• Is a 1000W PSU plenty for this setup, considering the Gen5 drive and the 5080?

I’m open to swapping out anything (except the case) if you have better suggestions. I just want the best possible combination.

Thank you all in advance for your time and expertise!
