Pad 7 USB file transfer
I have a Creality Ender 5+ that I set up with a Sonic Pad a while back. Fast forward to the infamous firmware update of January 2024 that still 2 years later hasn't been fixed and likely will not be. I lost the ability to use a USB drive to transfer files. My stock printer mainboard was noisy anyway, so I decided it was time to give my printer a BTT flair. I swapped the mainboard for the SKR Mini E3 V3, and added Klipper with a Pad 7. Got the I.T . guy at my job to lend a hand, and the whole system works beautifully! Except for one issue. I can't transfer gcode files with a USB drive. The major issue that caused me to leave the Sonic Pad is present. I understand that part of the appeal for Klipper is the web connectivity, but I guess I'm weird that I'd rather *not* have my printer connected to a network at all times for basic use. I prefer Klipper for its capabilities and Klipperscreen interface.
Now, for the question. Is there a way to get the Pad 7 to automatically recognize and mount a USB drive, any given USB drive and not a single dedicated drive, for basic file transfer? If not, what's the point of the screen? Might as well run headless, and I'm going to be rather upset that I wasted $50 on a useless screen.
