Theory time/question

Ok we all know in episode 7 Cain lied about an exit, and I think I have a reason, Cain can't make an exit at all, if he could he wouldn't be staring at the pictures he had of the outside world, unless, he does know the exit but want to be "more human" before he tries to exit the circus himself. My question is should Cain have access to the outside world in a physical form or his digital one? Can he be trusted?
