How do I create a subreddit that actually helps people?

I am 27 year old Indian female designer. I've been in the Indian media/creative circles for over 9 years now with my experience spreading across, television branding, OTT banner slops, comedy show work, poetry youtube channels, hip-hop circles and advertising. What I've realized so far is everything anyone says about Indian media is absolutely true and I haven't even been near the 'film industry'.

Women are constantly seen as a tender/office eye candy, a posse to a male boss or a difficult to work with bitch. Men have to laugh or active engage in problematic humour or behaviour to be cool. Bosses are egotistical and have hypocritical standards 'good ideas'. Simple things like 'proper feedbacks systems', a designated 'person of contact' or a respectful 'Key Responsibility Areas' are such luxuries. I hear the experiences of my designer and creative friends Europe, Australia and other asian countries and I feel, "Is this all that I am worth?". I am stuck with media because I don't seem to be good at anything else.

Every time I have had to find more work, I have to actively go around digging experiences of my personal contact to avoid toxic work environments. Working in a healthy environment should not be this difficult. Finding if your to-be Boss is a creep or egomaniac should no be this difficult. Finding why a company constantly has vacancy in that one team should not be this difficult. No body in this industry speaks up because all the abusers have such high concetration of power and network that making you jobless is like flicking hair from milk.

I want start a subreddit for Indian media professionals where people can anonymously flag certain individuals in the industry and warn each other about what to watch out for. But I fear that it would be left barren like a lot other forgotten subreddits.

So my questions here are:

  1. What should I name the subreddit so it has a ring to it?
  2. How do Sub rules work? Are set once and done forever or can I evolve them as we go on?
  3. How do I make sure that the subreddit reaches the people it is meant for?
