Saw scream 7.. heres my review. Spoilers for the entire movie.

it was shif.

so, to start off, the characters are basically nothing. sidneys just an overprotective mom and tatum kind of resents her for it, other than that they really dont do much with her or the new characters. im fine with characters just being fodder for kills, but they arent even interesting.

now, im gonna start with my biggest complaint.

the (MOST LIKELY, I DONT KNOW FOR SURE.) ai/cgi gore, ghostface, and kills.

i dont know what they did to ghostface, i dont know what happened to ol’ father death, but he moves so fucking inhuman and weird in this. light reflects off of his mask odd and he moves way too smooth, like a computer animation. (Or an ai generated thing.) he has those weird cloth physics that dont make any sense and moves oddly slow and sluggish at high energy fight scenes.

now, one thing i do know for sure is they probably used ai or cgi for the kills and gore. Especially hannahs gutting, lukes impalement, and bens stabbing. Hannahs intestines arent realistic at all and the blood falls on the floor in globs, which isnt very realistic for that kind of injury and looks like an mkx fatality. Lukes impalement is obviously ai and completely unrealistic, do you know the strength you need to have to do that? And bens stabbing looks so fucking weird its definitely cgi.

The only “good” scene in this entire movie is the intro sequence, which, doesnt say much when its also full of odditys. How the fuck did ghostface replace the animatronic without being scene or heard? Why did the fire just randomly appear like that in a way that makes no sense? Why does the boyfriends head stabbing looks like that? And more questions from me.

now for the unrealism of this movie.

to start off, gale, chad, mindy, and sid should all be death at this point from past injuries. but we already know that. so, moving on!

ghostface falls from a fucking railing, like probably 16-22ft off the ground, and is only out for like.. a minute.

mark survives being stabbed 4-5 times, with i think all punctures going into both the large intestine and small intestine multiple times. awesome.

ghostface somehow slitting someones throat without any noise from them, even though there would most likely be faint gurgling.

ghostface taking a cast iron skillet to the face and is fine.

i dont think its physically possibly for any human to impale someone on a beer ornament like that, and i dont think its would do that if it did.

ghostface gets shot 5 times in the chest, is fine. Then tanks a FIRE EXTINGUISHER to the head.

this reveal is so stupid, its not unrealistic i guess but its just moronic. so is the motive.

jessica somehow disappearing in literally under a second in the final act fight.

thats not how gore works for guns.

and probably some more im forgetting.
