Spoke to a detox Dr today

Figured I’d share some feedback I spoke to the med director of a facility near me (currently on 1000+mg) and was told they have had much success loading people up with clonidine before w/d starts, he mentioned that while you may not get major PWD by not waiting 24 hours, they have seen most success with this for people coming off higher doses to induce sub as with the other alks taking sub before than may throw us into getting more symptoms faster than necessary. He also said they go 8mg 2x day 1 of sub than 2/1/1/.5/.5 and jump. Idk if this is much different than what we all know but the load up of clonodine will still on 7, that’s new for me and figured I’d share. Best of luck to all. They also avg 2x 7oh patients weekly!
