Reading Rainjoe’s take on Song Sung Blue

I know it’s not a great movie, but I took my mom to the theater to see it and we both really liked it. I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed a very conventional film. I thought Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson were great. I really don’t understand Joe’s take on it about Jackman being miscast. His theatre kid energy was one of my favorite parts. But also, who the hell else would you even cast in that role? I really can’t think of anyone who would be better suited, and for some reason it’s one of the things I’m thinking about not being able to sleep. So I figured I would ask my fellow blankies, maybe I’m just not thinking of someone 🤷
