Most Americans do not care about term limits, Epstein, higher wages, or health care
Most protests and social movements in this country are identity or culture war based.
Like the people protesting against ICE or immigration enforcement.
Or the people protesting against abortions at planned parenthood or the people who mourned the death of Charlie Kirk.
There are rarely any economic justice protests or social movements.
And if there are any movements that mention economic justice, identity politics or the culture war always becomes the center of the movement.
"We are protesting ICE because the increase in funding could be used to fund healthcare."
Okay, but even before the increase in funding for ICE, we still didn't have an efficient healthcare system or an adequate system to help the homeless community of all colors and orientations to obtain safe housing.
The fight for gay marriage was good but legal gay marriage never materially helped stop or reduce the thousands of unhoused gay and transgender people living on the streets.
Black Lives Matter had good intent but it ended being infiltrated by companies who profit off the culture war and anti racism for profit grifters like Robin DeAngelo who sold an over priced book that explains why racism is bad.
