I think I’m gonna pick up cutting

There’s a big knife in the kitchen that kinda curves like a scimitar. I slept by it for a night but kept myself in check. The more the thoughts bubble up in my brain though, the more I want to slice my penance into my worthless flesh. I only ever cut with a box cutter and never got deep at all, but it was enough to numb the pain.
