specifically, I think he’s into hard vore. you may wonder, what the fuck are you talking about. but I have a lot of evidence to back this up.

starting off with Makima’s demise. Makima is a character that we know Fujimoto is very attracted to, and is likely based off of irl women he’s been attracted to. this character canonically is turned into food, which is a clear example of hard vore, when a character is eaten realistically rather than swallowed in one gulp like in most vore, and then pooped out, which is a clear example of digestion and disposal. the fact that nobody has taken advantage of this fact in fan works vexes me, but that’s irrelevant. anyway, this is done as an act of love by the main character. remember this.

the second piece of evidence is pochita’s main ability. his main ability is literally eating people/Devils to erase them conceptually. this is another clear example of hard vore, and also undeniably an example of soul vore, and one could argue also absorption vore because he can vomit the people he eats up at any time. Also, Denji literally started eating the hybrids in part 2 without even being Pochita.

denji is his self insert, and so far he has eaten multiple people, one of which he was in love with, and pochita, who can take over Denji has the ability to eat people. but there’s more.

the third piece of evidence is Falling Devil trying to turn Asa into food, which is another example of hard vore. Falling’s entire theme is turning people into food as a literal chef. in this case, it’s Asa, who is a character we know Fujimoto is likely attracted to, because he gave her the fattest cake in the manga, aside from Quanxi but idk if we’re ready for that conversation.

anyway, this is also an example of unwilling prey, as Denji and Asa try and escape their fate, and do so. good for them.

the fourth piece of evidence is the time Denji, who again, is Fujimoto’s self insert, had to eat people to transport them between the Aging hammerspace. speaking of, hammerspace (interdimensional storage) is also a thing in vore. and this arc literally shows Denji with half of Yoru in his mouth, and her ass hanging out. it cannot get more on the nose.

also, he vomits up Yoshida, which is an example of reformation, arguably. which you could consider a 5th piece of evidence.

the 6th piece of evidence is from the most recent chapter, and what set off the alarm bells in my head. Denji eating Makima was weird, but from a narrative standpoint it didn’t necessarily anything. but the most recent chapter had dialogue and a premise that confirmed this for me.

Fumiko confirms that, because nobody can die, bugs and other beasts need to eat people to fuel their reproduction, an example of hard vore and digestion. however, what she says next is truly damning: she goes on to emphasize that they’re going to live on as the flesh and blood of the bugs and beasts. this is a clear example of sentient weight gain, and the specific wording here seriously makes me believe that Fujimoto is into this kind of thing. in fatal vore, the vored character being digested and turned into fat on the pred is a very common theme, and i think Fujimoto knows this.

i have one final piece of evidence, however.

the fish.

when Fujimoto was living with his girlfriend when he was younger, they had a fish. one day, it died, and when he went to bury it he couldn’t break the ground, and he left it for the ants. but seeing them carry it away made him sad, so out of love he brushed the ants away and ate the fish.

i think this moment irreparably changed Fujimoto, and how he thinks about the symbolism behind consuming something or someone you love. Denji eating Makima is a clear parallel to this incident.

in conclusion, Fujimoto is very likely into vore, whether he knows it or not. I invite discussion of this and would love more evidence, either for or against my assertion. thank you for your time. also quanxi is hot as fuckkkkkk

Fujimoto is into vore and I can prove it (recent chapter spoilers)
