Question About Cornucopia Reciped

Hey, I noticed something & I'm just curious if anyone happens to know the answer.

Cornucopia Recipes is fun, but I find the More Crops & More Flowers to be a bit overwhelming, so I just use the Vanilla configuration of the mod. However, as I was looking at some of the food on the Cornucopia wiki, I realized that *a* ***bunch*** of the recipes classified as either being for Essential or Extended... don't even *use* any of the content added by More Crops & More Flowers.

For instance, Bear Candy, Honey Cake, Strawberry Drink, Strawberry Shortcake, Garlic Bread, & more. These recipes ***all*** use base game ingredients, so I just don't get the reasoning. Does anyone else have any idea as to the why behind this decision?

It's not a game-breaking thing, but it *is* a little befuddling & I'm curious.
