Slump and grind

I don't know if it's because I've been binging this game for the last week or so, or the game, but I'm getting a bit bored of doing all the watering every morning (which takes half my stamina) and tending to my animals before I can actually get on with my day, which, although set to the longest time, is still too short and before I know it the 8pm bell rings and I have to head home, put my animals to bed and then rest.

It's just getting a bit repetitive. I was hoping I would have sprinklers by now ( am at game stage where it's possible) but now I learn you can't make them easily and it's a bit frustrating.

I feel like other games gave you more help by this point in the game.

Is it me, or the game?
