Android: cannot change Facebook notification sound and lost access to media

Facebbok notification sound on Android is now the one provided by the app and no longer the system one I personally set months ago. From all settings I see the access to media is no longer there, meaning that the item has compeltely disappeared, and changing sound form app settings does not stick.
