Thinking about social detransition and going back to trying to date straight women. I feel like an invader and am scared I'm forcing lesbians to be into me against their will because I'm not actually female.
Title. I (25 MTF, bi) had a breakup with my ex (21 cis F, lesbian) back in December and I still feel awful and guilty about it. She left me mid date and said I was rude, didn't care about what she liked, and talked over her too much. All masculine traits. I haven't forgiven myself for it. Honestly I've felt pretty bad about being in lesbian circles since I first transitioned and feel like an invader. There was a post on here earlier today about how someone's older sister tried to convince OP that dicks were better and she just needed to try one. I really do not want to be like those guys who try to "convert" lesbians with "you haven't had the right dick yet".
My problem is I've been on HRT 3.75 years. I'm not sure I pass fully, but my other ex who's still a close friend of mine (23 cis F, bi) said she can't see me as anything other than a woman and doesn't believe women would be attracted to me. I also had a straight woman friend jokingly say she would not be interested in dating me because she's straight. However I feel like I'm lying to lesbians and that I'm not as feminine as my friends say I am and that they are just being nice/hugboxing. I honestly think I still look pretty male. Regardless I also don't really want to stop HRT. I've been on it 3.75 years and I like its effects on my body and don't want testosterone in my body again. That said, it would probably be for the better if I just removed myself from the lesbian dating pool and just went back to straight women, at least I wouldn't be lying to them and pressuring them to date against their sexuality...
I'd like some advice if you all think this would be the right choice and how to make it work if so.
