Predator Helios 300 Ram Upgrade

Hi, would it be advisable to increase the ram of my gaming laptop (Acer Predator HELIOS 300 PH315-53-527E). Its been 5 years since i bought this and increase its ram from 8gb to 16gb upon buying. Would it be advisable to increase its RAM to 24gb or 32gb? Will it increase its performance/longevity? I'm using this mostly for simulation works and lowkey gaming (Valo, League).
