Question regarding my battery

So about a month ago whilst i was cleaning my car the battery decided to die on me. Engine wasnt on but the infotainment system was. The car didnt want to start only on the first day and has worked perfectly again ever since. Only fault ive noticed is that the oil temperature takes a lot longer to show and the steering wheel doesnt feel stiffer, when changing modes like it did between comfort, sport and R. Would a battery change fix this?
