How do I know if my favourite hawker store is closed or is under renovation?

I went to my local hawker store wanting to buy some food only to find that it was closed, I returned a couple of days later only to find that the main sign had been taken down. The reason why I think that they might be under renovations is that their sign is a neon sign and it’s been broken for a while, so I thought maybe they are fixing the sign. Also I couldn’t see any signs saying that they’re closed and no longer open for business. Am I just keeping my hopes up? Or
