When I read the latest chapter (338), Hugo's philosophy regarding **destiny** remind me of Griffith from Berserk (even though I don't read the manga) Griffith will do anything to the point of sacrificing himself👉👈🙈 and his friends(ally) to achieve his dream, similar to Hugo that his willing to switch any position(correct me if im wrong).

**Griffith*(’s journey is emblematic of a philosophy rooted in fatalism—he embraces destiny as a predetermined course that must be fulfilled, regardless of the cost. His belief in the inevitability of his path, and his willingness to sacrifice everything to achieve it, speaks to a worldview that prioritizes order, purpose, and the acceptance of one’s fate. For Griffith, the notion of struggling against fate is seen as futile; instead, aligning oneself with destiny is the only rational course of action. This perspective can be interpreted as a form of resignation to a higher power or cosmic order, which he ultimately serves.

**Guts** represents a defiant stance against destiny. His journey is defined by his refusal to accept the predetermined path that has been set for him. Guts’ philosophy regarding his cut-off arm (and lost eye) is defined by a refusal to succumb to fate, treating his injury not as a limitation, but as a catalyst for greater violence, adaptability, and survival. "Do not pray! If you pray, your hands will close together. You will not be able to fight!". He views physical limitation not as an end, but as a hurdle, continuing to fight with one hand and a stump. His willpower is a symbol of individual agency, and his actions challenge the notion that destiny is immutable. Guts’ journey is one of personal growth, resilience, and the pursuit of authenticity, even in the face of overwhelming odds. *(source: google)*

*if Isagi follow the route of Guts he might reject the God of Football Ego talking about.*
