Ima be honest I have problems with some of the designs in the show- and the sins are the worst in some cases (#notmyleviathan) so I’ve started re-designing the sins, started with sloth- trying to make it so the ‘base’ avatar creates/sells the sin, but their large version suffers from it? Maybe? But finished Belphagor first, when I think of sloth/lethargy I think of entertainment first. Lots of the sins could be influencers but when I think of the most common thing people could suffer from (me especially) is bed rotting or doom scrolling too long and missing out on time you had. Leviathan was harder and kind of broke from that idea I had- but I adore her design. Leviathans biblical lore is so hard core. The serpent that devours souls before they reach heaven, I imagine she’d fix the plot hole of why sinners can’t make it to heaven, like she guards a space in limbo and kills anyone who tries to pass that isn’t an angel or sin like Lucifer or Charlie. And she creates an envy/jealousy around heaven because sinners can’t reach it- maybe? More ideas are welcome but I based her largely on GiGi’s version of Scylla from Epic the Musical so I could keep the two faced aspect and get her the large devouring mouth.

Oh- Belphagor’s horns glow because I wanted them to emulate a ring light :)
