6 months solo dev: built AI that turns one product photo into a full Amazon listing (5 images + A+ Content) — sharing what I learned
Been building reddstudio.ai for the past several months as a solo dev. Here's what I actually built and what I learned.
What it does: Upload one product photo and it generates a complete Amazon listing: 5 coordinated images plus A+ Content modules (desktop and mobile).
The pipeline I built:
- Vision analysis to understand the product
- Design framework generation (different color/style directions to pick from)
- Visual scripting for each of the 5 image types
- Coordinated generation so all images look like a cohesive set
- Custom canvas compositor for A+ Content modules
What was genuinely hard:
- Getting AI images consistent across a full listing (not just one-offs)
- A+ Content modules need to stitch seamlessly across desktop and mobile breakpoints
- Amazon requires pure white backgrounds (#FFFFFF) and getting AI to reliably produce that took a lot of prompt iteration
Live at reddstudio.ai. Still early — looking for feedback from anyone who sells on Amazon or has opinions on AI-generated product imagery. Giving away 4 free Pro accounts for anyone who tries it and tells me what's broken.
