Internet for 3 months

Hello.

im a student here in UAE with only 3 months to go till graduation. i recently moved to a monthly rental since my yearly lease ended.

i need a stable internet connection for my pc (something to game/ do meetings with without it being choppy/disconnecting every few minutes). - especially now with the directives to stay at home.

From my knowledge/search the main providers du/etisalat etc only have yearly contracts the cancellation of which will will put me out.

Can someone guide me a bit?

(i checked with the rental agency and they said they'll provide a connection for AED300/month- i agreed to it but it is too choppy/throttles/disconnects all the time.. im not sure if its a legal connection since they just came and put in a router with a sim in it)

id appreciate any experience/suggestions! (is this legal?? do i have any other opptions?)
