Quit FP&A job (7 months) to focus on CFA L1. What are my chances of getting a decent job after clearing CFA Level 1? (Pls put down any honest advice/ opinion)

I recently resigned from my FP&A role after about 7 months because I was struggling to manage work along with CFA Level 1 prep (Aug attempt) and felt like I wasn’t doing justice to either. Now I’m wondering if that was a mistake.

Will such a short stint hurt my profile, and if I clear L1, is it realistic to expect I can land a decent finance role again? I’m also planning to prepare for CAT/MBA this year, ideally alongside a job if I get one after L1. Would appreciate honest opinions.

Any other advice is also appreciated.
