How a single match in War Grids plays out (from Level Start to Victory)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to quickly show how a single match in War Grids works from start to finish.
The screenshots below follow one complete run through Level 1:

  • Main View – You start a match by tapping “Level X – Start”
  • Game View – The battle begins on a grid-based map
  • Gameplay – Expanding territory, reacting to enemy moves, making tactical decisions
  • Result View – Win or lose, you see the outcome of the match
  • Back to Main View – Your level is updated (Level 1 → Level 2 in this case)

If you win, you move on to the next level.
If you lose, you can retry a level with the same difficulty, but with a different level layout.

👉 Levels are never identical.
Starting positions and surrounding tiles always change, so you can’t just memorize patterns — you have to adapt every time.

For anyone new here, War Grids is a fast, turn-based territory strategy game with:

  • 3–5 minute tactical matches
  • Turn-based gameplay with real strategic depth
  • Full grid conquest mechanics
  • Adaptive AI factions
  • Dynamic map sizes
  • Customizable gameplay settings
  • Optional Ad-Free Subscription (monthly or yearly)

📱 iOS App Store:

As always, feedback is welcome — especially on level flow, difficulty progression, and map variety.
