Tried NMS 6 years ago and hated the grind and UI—is it better in 2026?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some honest advice. I tried No Man’s Sky back in 2020-2021, but I bounced off it hard. I love exploration, but back then, the UI felt like a mess and overwhelming, and the constant "recharge your life support every 2 minutes" grind felt more like a chore than a game

I’ve heard it’s basically a different game now with all the updates. How right is this?

Is it worth reinstalling it nowadays?
