How come Chakri never got to make music for some of the bigger stars of telugu cinema like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu?

I grew up in the era dominated by DSP, Mani Sharma and Thaman. As I grew older I found out about the other music directors who also made my childhood great like Anup Rubens and Mickey J Meyer. Along with them I found out about Chakri and when I go through the music he made its just so energetic and fun. Like all his collabs with Puri and then albums like Krishna and Maska. I know his career was unfortunately cut short but was he not regarded as one of the top tier music directors of his time? Definitely feel like a Chakri-Pawan Kalyan would've been fire in the early 2000s. Were Mani Sharma and DSP just too dominant that time or something else? I personally feel like he deserved to be seen as one of the in demand stars if wasn't already.
