Do any of you think you were self-medicating for ADHD?

Sober now for like 25th days idk haven’t kept track and I just can’t sit at my computer for work and have this nightmare project I really need to dial in for.

Trying to schedule a psych appt but know myself and am worried I wouldn’t be able to control my consumption if they gave me adderall. I’m thinking of getting like a time-released safe or something and giving my wife the master code but that’s so crazy. I just know I’m an addict and would eat too much of it just like I did with the gabapentin I got from the funny farm after I got out for kratom/alcohol abuse.

Anything work for yall?
