Accenture ASE process – chose “No Prior Knowledge” in prior knowledge email, then got CH-AT17 Custom Software Engineer Workday mail. Is this normal?
Hi everyone,
I recently got selected in the Accenture hiring process for the ASE (Associate Software Engineer) role and I’m currently working on the Primer / Udacity learning modules.
Yesterday I received a mail asking about prior knowledge, where we had to choose one option: • Java • Data Visualization with Power BI • No prior knowledge
Since I don’t have prior experience in those areas, I selected “No prior knowledge.”
Today I received another email saying:
“Thanks for applying for the role of CH-AT17 – Custom Software Engineer. Please create your Workday Home account to track your application.”
This confused me a bit because I was selected for ASE, but the email mentions Custom Software Engineer (CH-AT17). I’m also already continuing with the Primer modules.
I wanted to ask people who are going through or have gone through the recent Accenture process:
- Is CH-AT17 Custom Software Engineer the same as the ASE role internally?
- Is this Workday email just for creating the account to track application status?
- Does choosing “No prior knowledge” affect anything in the training or assessment?
- What option did others choose in the prior knowledge email (Java / Power BI / No prior knowledge), and what email or training path did you receive after that?
Just trying to understand if everything is normal in the process.
Thanks!
