19+1 bulging membranes

Looking for anyone who has had this same experience. Came to the hospital last night at 19 weeks as had some blood in my mucus, they checked on Doppler baby fine but I have a 2.5-3cm dilated cervix with bulging membranes. Started on antibiotics.

Consultant came round this morning and advised they can’t put in a cerclage stitch as I’m showing signs of infection (CRP 22 & had 2 high temps out of 4 high-normal-high-normal. they think that is the cause of my cervix opening. ultrasound showed baby moving/heartbeat and fluid around him, but the cervix opened with membrane.

They are sending bloods and swab away to see if they can find a cause for the infection but meanwhile on bed rest and due to start progesterone. Been told there is very slim chance of him making it to 24 weeks, has anyone else experienced this? So scared :(
