If you just want to emote, go to a custom lobby...

I just need to get this off my chest, 2 of my games tonight. (I usually get to play 2-3 after work before bed) had multiple players that were not playing the game leading to frustrating experiences. The first game we had a "friendly" Mercy who was just going to the enemy team and saying hello before eventually getting killed by their dps who weren't having it. The second game had a Bastion on the enemy team who was just going around and emoting. He would emote with my team nearby and they would stop attacking him but then he would use this to stall the robot, standing next to it then emoting halting our progress til we eventually would lose a team fight.

I get "quickplay, don't be so serious." I don't have time for competitive games. I just want to play a regular round or 2 before bed but people keep sabotaging. There are plenty of custom lobbies you can just go and good off and emote in.
