Dear Other Fanfic Writers Are You As Obsessive About Detail As I Am?

Look, I spent way too long recently doing my best to research the proper prices that ice cream truck companies operating in the American north-west charged for snow cones in 1978.

Why did I do this? Because I wanted to be as close to accurate as I could be. I know I won't get everything perfect but I'm willing to lose hours reseaching just in case I can get it right.

Am I the only one?
