how painful are TAD removals

so i’m getting my braces off today, (yay) but i’m genuinely horrified and nauseated thinking of the fact that the TAD in the roof of my mouth will have to be unscrewed. my pain tolerance is terrible and i’m concerned that it’s gonna hurt. they won’t be numbing it because they said it’d be fine but i’m afraid to take their word for it and be sitting in that chair prepared for nothing painful and then feel a burning pain in my mouth. so uh ya. how painful are TAD removals?
