Sick day guilt in a WFH job?
Hi everyone,
So I started a remote job a few weeks ago (I’m still in training), and it is a very high stress job that involves staring at 3 monitors all day. I enjoy my job so far, but I have been pretty stressed with all of the info I’ve been getting thrown at me during training. Last night, I got an awful migraine that lasted a good 5 hours (it’s still lingering, yay) and I didn’t get one minute of sleep. My prior job made it known that it was not okay to call in sick, so I think I have a lot of guilt and anxiety around the subject. I literally could not imagine trying to work today, so I emailed my trainer and called in… how do I manage the guilt?
