Too much snow

Am I the only one who feels the snow is very excessive especially in the southern portion of the map. Settlements like Danustica, Razih and down into Nahasa will be covered with snow until mid spring. Dealing with slower travel through the desert because of “snow” is extremely frustrating in my opinion.
