[M4A][1x1][Discord] Captain on Captain. The captured Impirial and Pirate Lord.

You had the Empire on their heels. The entire royal navy had their pantaloons in knots. Discussing, debating endlessly on the best way to bring you down. A new pirate lord, a lion among the wolves. Taking port town after port town. Sinking half the ships you came across, dominating and claiming the other half. It was genuinely terrifying how quickly your fleet grew. From defecting impirials to pirate captains who saw your vision. The admiralty nearly spent as much time fighting each other as they did you. None of these wise older sailors could come up with a solid strategy to eliminate the threat you posed. And as they bickered, you expanded. As they enacted their plans too late, you showed them the error in their ways.

But, there's always something. An issue. An obstacle that just won't bend to your will. The navy as a whole wasn't an issue, just a mild inconvenience. What was an ongoing, very real issue, was one particular man who fought just as brutally as you.... who the Empire were lucky enough to shove into a uniform.

A nautical prodigy, Captain Marlis gained his station with 50% luck and 50% violent, uncompromising, unnatural nautical wit. For a man half the age of most grand admirals, who only captain a slippery little brig-of-war with fourteen guns and fifty men, Marlis was for pirates what you were for the Empire. A monster. So, when you and five other ships managed to track and corner her in a bay, how could you not take the chance?

Three of those five ships didn't make it that day. Sunk by horrifically good canon shots. It took the remaining crews, yours being one, to board the brig at the same time to eventually over power this crew of freaks. You thinned out their numbers and roughly bound down the survivors.... but the captain wasn't among them. You couldn't see him on deck. So you sent a vanguard of twenty men below. Half of them came back bruised, bleeding and dragging someone in chains behind them. Rope filled his mouth to stop him from biting, shackles bound his bloodied hands and kicking legs. He was cast down before your feet. A bloody enigma of the Empire.... and he was finally yours. You thought you'd be proud. You thought you'd be relieved. You were! Truly.... but.... something else....

All of this.... all the defiance and violence and fierceness and.... that look of pure fire in the captain's eyes? Fascinatingly.... you were kinda attracted to this.....

**Writer's Notes.**

Hello all! Welcome to this set up for an enemies to lovers, pirate based plot. I'm the type of writer who truly means enemies when I say it. This youthful captain who just bodied multiple of your brother's and had to be brought before you in chains. This won't be a relationship that can go from meeting to bedding in a single day. However, out of all the captain's convictions, you'll come to find his loyalty to staying alive and staying on the sea is remarkably stronger than his loyalty to the Empire. There are men who kneel to the Empire because they believe in it and then there are those who kneel because the Empire enables them. Captain Marlis is the latter. He's aboard this ship because the Empire gave him employment and a good fight, nothing more. For your captain character, this means his loyalty and perhaps companionship is available, just after some working for it.

Relationship wise I envision this dynamic simply starting as a prisoner and captor dynamic until Marlis proves himself safe enough to take out of shackles. When the sexual or affectionate tension begins is up to us to decide. Maybe a scenario forces the Marlis to protect you, maybe after he begins to turn his allegiance to serve you you both become closer. Or maybe you found him handling your men with ease strangely attractive? Depends what you're into really😇

The dynamic between our characters is as open to discussion as your character. You can style them however you wish. Craft their motivations and personality however you please and ask for input if ever you fancy. I'm simply looking for some nice, spicy, high seas fun with some delicious tension.
